Weekly Music at Trident

Live sets on the back patio, with a lineup that leans toward folk, bluegrass, Americana and singer-songwriters. Some nights add something different, like a late-night bill or an evening that pairs spoken-word poetry with a jam band. The patio is a small courtyard that holds about 100 people. You can get coffee, tea or a drink inside and bring it out under the trees.

Trident treats the patio stage as the main event, so the crowds come to listen. It is also a working bookstore with its own community, with Tuesday book readings and a regular old-time jam and open mic. If you want an acoustic night in downtown Boulder that feels more like a neighborhood gathering than a club show, this is a good fit.
