About this event
Beginner friendly!! Looking for something fun and unique to do this Spring? Come try your hand at making stained glass!! In this 2 hour workshop, you will get to create a themed stained glass project. All tools and materials will be provided! Note this is not a full beginner class, we will just be focusing on only 2 parts of the process as the projects will be pre-cut :) Booking is for a single participant! Want to do a whole project start to finish? Our beginner classes would be the class to sign up for to get the full experience! This class is more of a fun/laid back taste test of making stained glass!! 8/14 - Rainbow Feather 8/21 - Colorado Mountain Scene 8/22 - Colorado Flag 8/29 - Moon Phase 9/12 - Iridescent Monstera Leaf 9/25 - Mandala 10/3 - Moon & Stars Mini Panel 10/16 - CU Buffs 10/17 - CU Buffs 10/23 - Spooky Bat 10/30 - Spooky Bat 11/20 - Fall-Themed Mountain Scene
What to expect
You pick up a pre-cut, themed pattern and work through two parts of the process: foiling and soldering. Instructors give individual help, and you finish a sun-catcher for a window. It is not a full beginner class, so there is no glass cutting. Each booking covers one participant, and the themes change through the season, from a Colorado mountain scene to CU Buffs and spooky bats.
Why go
This is the quickest way to try stained glass without committing to a multi-week course. The mood is laid back, and you leave with something finished. If you like it, the studio's beginner classes cover the whole process from start to finish. The studio is run by working glass artists, and it sits right on Pearl Street in Boulder.
