Live Music @Johnson’s Station

Sets run for a couple of hours in the early evening, with solo artists up to quartets. The venue asks for friendly, conversation-level music: Americana, jazz, bluegrass, folk, acoustic sets and mellow soul, funk or blues. There are no big PA rigs, so you can talk at the front tables. Kids run around the yard, and the food is full-service.

Johnson's Station calls itself Longmont's best backyard, and it works as a neighborhood hangout more than a formal venue. The lineup changes from week to week, with local trios, duos and bands. The kitchen is known for its burgers, and the music is built to suit the sunset. It suits a relaxed night with friends or family.
