Classic Rock: Dome of Legends Laser & Liquid Sky show
Fiske Planetarium and Science Center · $12
TOMORROW · 11:30pm
Halloween Musical Thriller
Friday, October 30 at Fiske Planetarium and Science Center, Boulder
About this event
Something strange is waiting for you under the dome. This All Hallows Eve, Fiske comes alive with classic Halloween hits reimagined through mind-melting visuals and a flight through the cosmos, transforming the planetarium into an otherworldly Halloween dance floor. Come for the music. Stay for the thrill.
What to expect
The show runs about an hour. Songs from artists including Tame Impala, Steve Aoki, Talking Heads and A-Trak play against full-dome visuals that move through space. Fiske describes the room as an otherworldly Halloween dance floor. Some shows here use laser lights and strobes, and may include explicit language or images.
Why go
Fiske's music shows put a concert and a planetarium in the same room, and this one adds a seasonal twist. It runs only in October, so it is a short-window option for a Halloween outing in Boulder. The dome and the sound system do most of the work.
