Freaky Tiki

Teams compete in a trivia night with a Halloween theme, with prizes for the winners and specials running through the evening. A costume contest is part of the fun, so expect plenty of people dressed up. Swaylo's regular trivia nights are run by quizmasters, and this one adds a seasonal twist.

Swaylo's already looks like a set, with a giant pirate ship around the bar, taxidermied blowfish with lights inside them, and parrot chandeliers overhead. Add costumes and the tiki cocktails the bar is known for, served in skull and totem cups, and the night suits a group of friends. The owners are Longmont locals who built the place in a former steakhouse in southwest Longmont.
