Each Halloween, Downtown Boulder is invaded by tiny ghosts & goblins, dinosaurs & dragons, fairies & princes, superheroes & animals of every size trick-or-treating along Pearl Street and throughout downtown Boulder. Check out the link above for a mall of all treat spots.
What to expect
Children in costume walk the Pearl Street Mall and the streets around it, stopping at businesses that serve as Treat Stops. The event is aimed at kids 12 and under. The Treat Stop list covers bookstores, coffee roasters, outdoor-gear shops, restaurants and the Hotel Boulderado. Expect a slow, costume-filled stroll more than a rush.
Why go
The businesses give out the treats at no charge, so the afternoon feels like a neighborhood gesture. The pedestrian mall means kids can walk from stop to stop without traffic. It also works as a daytime Halloween for families who want to see the costumes and the street scene.
