Golf League
Thursday, October 29 at Birdie Factory, Boulder
About this event
New Weekly Golf League hosted at the Birdie Factory. There will be a blind draw for teams to play in a scramble format in the golf simulator bays. Each bay will have 2 players and the golf course will be announced at the start of the event. There are 2 rounds consisting of 2 hours of play time and a 30 minute warm up. The warm up for the first round starts at 5:30 p.m. and the game will go from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The second round warm up will begin at 8 p.m. and the game will go from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The winning team will receive 2 - 2 hour golf credits and the runner up will receive 2 - 1 hour golf credits.
What to expect
Teams come from a blind draw, so you may be playing with someone new. Each bay holds two players, and the course is announced when the event starts. A 30-minute warm-up comes before each of the two 2-hour rounds, so you can play one round or stay for both.
Why go
The winning team gets two 2-hour golf credits, and the runner-up gets two 1-hour credits. Birdie Factory opened as Boulder's first indoor golf bar. It has five simulator bays, a full bar, pool tables and darts. The simulators can be set to your skill level, so a scramble works for casual players as well as serious ones.
