Who's playing
Onnika & the Obsession is a Boulder County blues and soul band led by Onnika Hanson on vocals and keytar. Drew Vanderhorn plays guitar, Ron Beckett bass and Barrett Duff drums. They mix blues classics, twists on modern hits and their own songs. They have played the distillery's stage before and are a Longmont favorite.
What to expect
The Extravagant Costume Contest is the centerpiece, and the more outrageous the outfit, the better. The bar adds Halloween cocktail specials to its regular menu of house bourbon, gin and rum drinks. It also serves beer, wine and zero-proof options. The band plays a full evening set in the distillery's tasting room.
Why go
This is the distillery's biggest themed party, and it comes back every year. You get a costume crowd, live music and spirits made a few feet away, all in a downtown Longmont room that feels more like a lounge than a bar. It suits a group of friends who like dressing up.
