What to expect
This is a classroom course, not a drop-in chat group. It sits at an upper-intermediate level, for people who can already hold a conversation and want to build on it. Classes meet in the BoulderReads Classroom at NoBo Library, and the program provides the class materials.
Why go
BoulderReads has been the library's community literacy program since 1986. Its English classes are no-cost and set up for adult learners with different backgrounds and amounts of schooling. NoBo is a bright, modern branch in North Boulder, and BoulderReads moved its classes there when it opened in 2024. Learners who have outgrown the beginner levels will find a clear next step here.
