Colorado Volleyball vs Texas Tech
Sunday, November 1 at CU Events Center, Boulder
About this event
Colorado Volleyball vs Texas Tech is a Big 12 match at the CU Events Center on the Boulder campus. The Buffaloes host the Red Raiders in the arena they have called home since 1988. The match is also streamed on ESPN+ for anyone who can't be there.
What to expect
A Big 12 conference match, played as a best-of-five contest. The CU Events Center is a big arena for volleyball, with a capacity of 11,064 for basketball, so the crowd noise comes from the stands as much as from the court. It is a college atmosphere, with students, families and longtime season-ticket holders.
Why go
Colorado has a long record against Texas Tech, and the Buffs have won most of the meetings. Their most recent matchup before this one went five sets. The Events Center sits just north of the Kittredge housing complex on campus, and it has hosted CU volleyball for decades. It is a simple way to see Big 12 sport in Boulder.
