How tickets work

Tickets, passes, and packages are sold on the festival's own site, festival.sundance.org, where you sign in with a festival account. Our event listings do not sell or list festival screenings.
A single film ticket is $37, fees included, on sale from 10 a.m. MT on Friday, January 8, 2027. Donors get a presale on January 6 and Sundance Institute members on January 7.
Ignite single tickets are $15 for anyone 18 to 25 and for enrolled students of any age. You need to register first; free registration opens at 10 a.m. MT on Tuesday, December 8, 2026.
Passes and 10-ticket packages are on sale now. Package holders choose their screenings before single tickets go on sale. Prices and what is left are on Sundance's ticket page.

Getting around
Most venues have no parking of their own, so plan to walk, ride, or bus.
- Downtown venues are a short walk apart, and the four on the CU Boulder campus are within a 10-minute walk of each other.
- Local HOP, SKIP, and JUMP buses reach festival destinations every 10 to 15 minutes, and a Chautauqua Connector runs up to Chautauqua.
- From Denver International Airport, RTD's AB1, AB2, and AB3 buses run to Boulder. The Flatiron Flyer connects Boulder with Denver Union Station along US 36.
- If you drive, the city's public parking map shows paid lots and garages, and Park-n-Rides around the Front Range connect to the buses.
- Shared e-bikes and e-scooters are available around town.
- Transit agencies plan more frequent service on key routes during the festival. The City of Boulder posts updates on its getting around page.
