Tabletop Adventures
Thursday, October 29 at Reynolds Library, Boulder
About this event
Do you fancy yourself a cat who can appear where she's not supposed to, or perhaps a half-orc hunter who can always find his way? Show us your skills, creativity, and imagination at Tabletop Adventures. Work with other children your age and an adult volunteer to help tell a unique and exciting adventure. This program is a great introduction to Tabletop games like DnD using the Sodalitas system. Appropriate for kids in 2nd-4th grade. Each session is self-contained, so feel free to come to those you are able, even if you miss the ones before!
What to expect
Kids build characters and tell an adventure together, with an adult volunteer helping the story along. The program invites them to bring skills, creativity and imagination, whether that means playing a cat who turns up where she shouldn't or a half-orc hunter who always finds his way. It meets in the Reynolds Meeting Room.
Why go
Each session is self-contained, so a child can come to the ones that fit the family's schedule and not feel behind after missing a week. It suits a kid curious about DnD but not ready for a full campaign. Reynolds Library sits on Table Mesa Drive in South Boulder, so it is a neighborhood outing.
