What to expect
A live stand-up show with Halloween dressing-up built in. The organizers promise special guests, a costume contest with prizes, and a lineup of comedians who play up the silliness of the night. They suggest buying a couple of drinks or food items, and they encourage you to come early, eat, and show off your costume before the show starts. The tone is rowdy and adult-oriented.
Why go
Parkway is Longmont's first food hall, in a 16,000-square-foot former grocery building on Ken Pratt Boulevard. It has several food stalls, a full bar at the center, an arcade and a patio. That makes it easy to eat, have a drink and watch comedy in one place. If you want a Halloween plan in Longmont that is more about laughs than haunted houses, this fits.
